Every horizon is a border that chose to stay open.

“Our Planet” was born from a lifelong fascination with a line that divides, and the space that opens beyond it.  Canvases split by the golden ratio: below, the raw weight of the earth in bitumen, iron powder and marble dust. Above, a single luminous tone, breathing.

In Our Planet, time does not move in one direction. There is the suspended time of the upper field, vast, luminous, breathing. There is the geological time of the lower band, dense, layered, ancient.
And between them: the threshold, a horizon.

A line that moves as you move toward it, always promising something just beyond.
Three times. One canvas. One moment.

The titles - Copper, Teal, Emerald, Electric Green, Red - speak the language of minerals and atmospheres. Each work is both a specific place and every place at once. A landscape distilled to its most essential, most luminous truth.

To live with a work from Our Planet is to keep that sense of possibility present, every day, in your space.

Quacchia investigates the theme of landscape and the sensible horizons of reality that become, in her artistic research, a metaphorical journey into the depth of the human soul.
