In a world shaped by both science and emotion, my abstract art emerges from a unique confluence of disciplines and cultures. Influenced by the dual nature of matter—exhibiting both wave-like and particle-like behaviour—my work explores the interplay between structure and fluidity, much like the dance of light and shadow in a thoughtfully curated space.
My artistic journey has been deeply enriched by experiences at the European Centre for Nuclear Research (CERN), where I engaged with groundbreaking particle physics. The spirit of inquiry and the challenge to absolute truths found there parallels in the dynamic nature of contemporary interior design and modern art, where each creation invites curiosity and layered interpretation.
Over nearly three decades at the International Labour Organization (ILO), I collaborated with colleagues from 187 countries in a deep experience that shaped my understanding of cultural nuance, diversity, and the intricacy of human expression. These insights are reflected in my paintings, each offering a lens into the fluid nature of identity and meaning. My art mirrors existence: multifaceted, open-ended, and profoundly connected.
Artistically, I draw inspiration from the spatial sensitivity of Zao Wou-Ki, the emotional depth of Mark Rothko, the gestural dynamism of Willem de Kooning, and the tactile richness of Pierre Soulages. Their approach to composition and space continues to guide my exploration of abstract forms, helping me cultivate visual dialogues that resonate with texture, light, and the intangible.
After pausing my creative pursuits to focus on family and career, I rekindled my passion for painting in 2012. I’ve since trained under celebrated artists and educators across Europe:
Today, my artwork resonates with collectors and gallerists seeking meaningful pieces that blend aesthetics, conceptual depth, and cultural diversity. Each painting is a portal, like an invitation to explore beyond the tangible, to find beauty in ambiguity, and to experience the power of perspective.
