Blue Element 5

Delicate shades of blue, translucent whites and subtle earthy tones flow across the surface of Blue Element 5, creating a composition suspended between water, sky and an imagined landscape.

Soft transitions of colour contrast with fine, irregular traces of warm pigment, while the transparency and depth of the resin allow light to become an integral part of the work. A small luminous circle interrupts the fluid composition, inviting the eye to wander beyond the visible surface.

Part of the Serendipity series, this work reflects Antonella Quacchia's exploration of spontaneity, transformation and the unexpected. Working with the unpredictable movement of resin, the artist allows materials to participate in the creative process, embracing the delicate balance between intention and chance.

The result is a quiet, open-ended composition in which forms emerge and dissolve, leaving space for the viewer's own imagination and interpretation.
