A selection of 13 works by Antonella Quacchia transformed one of Vienna's most vibrant urban spaces into an open-air gallery. Displayed in the monumental showroom window overlooking the platforms of Schottentor–Universität, the busiest stop on the U2 line, the exhibition brought contemporary painting into the daily rhythm of thousands of commuters, students, and passers-by.
Drawn from the series "Floating Thoughts" and "Our Planet", the works , large-scale, luminous, and deeply chromatic, were chosen to resonate with the restless energy of the station. Centrepiece of the installation was "Humanity" (145×145 cm), whose layered figures in motion mirror the constant flow of life underground: each person a world, each journey a story.
The project was made possible by Red Carpet Art Award and supported by Kultur Innere Stadt Wien, as part of their commitment to bringing art into the urban landscape and public consciousness.
