Antonella Quacchia - SERENDIPITY

A solo exhibition in the heart of Rome, curated by Giorgio Vulcano and Gianni Maiellaro

In June 2024, Banca Fideuram opened its prestigious spaces in the heart of Rome to host Serendipity, a solo exhibition by Antonella Quacchia curated by Giorgio Vulcano and Gianni Maiellaro. With the intervention of Prof. Vincenzo Pepe, Director of FareAmbiente.

The exhibition brought together a selection of works from the Serendipity series including large-scale mixed-media pieces on panel in which layers of resin, pigment and raw matter interact over 48 to 72 hours of slow transformation, creating luminous surfaces that cannot be fully planned or predicted. Works that embody, in their very making, the philosophy they express.

The vernissage on 27 June 2024 brought together collectors, professionals and art lovers in an intimate pesentation of the artworks, followed by a rooftop setting in an evening that reflected the spirit of the work itself: open, luminous, alive with unexpected connections.

The exhibition was organised in partnership with FareAmbiente - Movimento Ecologista Europeo, reinforcing the environmental commitment that runs through Quacchia's practice, and with the support of Casale del Giglio, Azienda Agricola.

The catalogue Serendipity, curated by Giorgio Vulcano and Gianni Maiellaro, was presented and signed at the opening.
