In April 2025, I had the pleasure of presenting a month‑long solo exhibition at the Natuzzi Austria showroom in the heart of Vienna, just steps away from the Opera. A wide selection of my works, especially pieces from Our Planet and Floating Thoughts, found a beautiful harmony with Natuzzi Italia’s elegant, meticulously crafted furniture. The space became a dialogue between art, design, and the values we share, particularly a deep respect for nature and sustainability.
The vernissage on April 6th was a truly special evening. Surrounded by visitors, collectors, and friends, I performed a live, participatory artwork inspired by my earlier piece Burning Planet. Drawing on themes of environmental responsibility and the tension between luxury and sustainability, I invited guests to join me in completing a new work together. A vintage wooden banana from the 1950s, reinterpreted through the conceptual lens of Maurizio Cattelan, became a symbolic element of the performance, sparking reflection on consumption, value, and our relationship with natural resources.
It was a warm, lively, and inspiring event: one of those rare moments where art, people, and place come together in perfect balance.
