Red Element 5 is a luminous and contemplative abstract work from Antonella Quacchia’s Serendipity series, a collection that explores the emotional and symbolic power of fluid materials. This 50 × 70 cm panel features a radiant field of magenta and crimson resin, punctuated by a delicate form rendered in gold metal powder—evocative of the sacred Bodhi leaf, symbol of enlightenment and spiritual awakening.

The leaf-like motif floats within the composition, its textured surface contrasting with the surrounding glossy resin. Swaths of translucent red and pink flow across the panel, creating a sense of movement and depth.
