I create abstract and mixed media artworks that explore the invisible forces shaping our world. Inspired by the dual nature of matter—both wave and particle—my compositions reflect a balance between structure and fluidity, echoing the dance of light and shadow.
My artistic approach is deeply informed by my experience at CERN, where I engaged with particle physics and the pursuit of knowledge beyond absolutes. This scientific lens fuels my curiosity and guides my visual language, inviting layered interpretation and spatial resonance.
During nearly three decades at the International Labour Organization, I collaborated with colleagues from 187 countries. These encounters enriched my understanding of identity, nuance, and human expression. These elements now infuse my paintings with emotional and conceptual depth.
I draw inspiration from:
Zao Wou-Ki – spatial sensitivity
Mark Rothko – emotional resonance
Willem de Kooning – gestural energy
Pierre Soulages – tactile richness
Their work continues to guide my exploration of abstract forms and visual dialogue.
After pausing my creative practice to focus on family and career, I returned to painting in 2012. I’ve since trained with celebrated artists across Europe, refining my technique and cultivating a love for abstraction.
Today, my work resonates with collectors and curators seeking meaningful pieces that blend aesthetics, inquiry, and cultural perspective. Each painting is a portal, like an invitation to explore ambiguity, embrace transformation, and experience the quiet power of perspective.
